               เมื่อวันที่ 16 กันยายน 2567 คณะอุตสาหกรรมเกษตร โดย รองคณบดี รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุธี วังเตือย ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ศรีสุวรรณ นฤนาทวงศ์สกุล และรองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.พิสิฐ ศรีสุริยจันทร์ ให้การต้อนรับคณะกรรมการติดตามโครงการยุวชนอาสาประจำปีงบประมาณ 2567 ได้แก่ คุณสุวรรณี คำมั่น (ที่ปรึกษาคณะกรรมการบริหาร บพค.) รองศาสตราจารย์ เพ็ญรัตน์ หงส์วิทยากร (รองเลขาธิการ ทปอ.) คุณนิสากร จึงเจริญธรรม (ที่ปรึกษา สกสว.)   คุณนภาพร อาร์มสตรอง (ผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการอุดมศึกษา) คุณกีรติ แก้วสัมฤทธิ์ (ผู้อำนวยการกลุ่มขับเคลื่อนและพัฒนา อววน.3) และคณะ เนื่องในโอกาสที่มาตรวจเยี่ยมการดำเนินงานโครงการยุวชนอาสา ที่อาจารย์สังกัดคณะอุตสาหกรรมเกษตร ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ภัทวรา ปฐมรังษิยังกุล และผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ศศิธร ใบผ่อง รวมทั้ง อาจารย์สังกัดคณะเกษตรศาสตร์ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ณฐิตากานต์ พยัคฆา ได้รับทุนโครงการยุวชนอาสาประจำปีงบประมาณ 2567
             สำหรับโครงการที่ได้รับทุนคือ โครงการยุวชนอาสาสนับสนุนซอฟต์พาวเวอร์ไทยด้านอาหารและการท่องเที่ยวของชุมชนในตำบลวังผางอำเภอเวียงหนองล่อง จังหวัดลำพูน  ซึ่งเป็นโครงการที่มีนักศึกษาคณะอุตสาหกรรมเกษตรและคณะเกษตรศาสตร์ จำนวน 11 คน ได้ลงพื้นที่ทำงานร่วมกับประชาชนในชุมชนเวียงหนองล่อง โดยนำองค์ความรู้ที่เรียนด้านกฎหมายอาหารและการจัดการการท่องเที่ยวเชิงเกษตรไปปฏิบัติจริง   เพื่อตอบสนองต่อปัญหาและความต้องการเชิงพื้นที่ของชุมชนที่ต้องการนำซอฟ์พาวเวอร์ หรือของดีด้านอาหารพื้นถิ่นและแหล่งท่องเที่ยวที่น่าสนใจ รวมทั้งกิจกรรมการท่องเที่ยวที่ดึงดูดใจมาจัดทำเป็นเส้นทางการท่องเที่ยว อาหารและของฝากจากชุมชน และคลิปวิดีโอเพื่อดึงดูดใจให้นักท่องเที่ยวและผู้คนที่สนใจรับประทานอาหารเมืองท้องถิ่นได้เข้ามาท่องเที่ยวและสัมผัสประสบการณ์ที่น่าประทับใจของชุมชนแห่งนี้ต่อไป พบกับผลงานของนักศึกษาได้ในเร็วๆ นี้

               On September 16, 2024, the Faculty of Agro-Industry, led by Associate Professor Dr. Suthee Wangtueai (Associate Dean), Assistant Professor Dr. Srisuwan Naruenatwongsakul, and Associate Professor Dr. Pisith Srisuriyachanchai, warmly welcomed the project monitoring committee of the “Youth Volunteer Project” for the fiscal year 2024. The committee included Ms. Suwannee Kamman (Advisor to the Board of Executives of NRCT), Associate Professor Penrat Hongwittayakorn (Deputy Secretary-General of the Council of University Presidents of Thailand), Ms. Nisakorn Juangcharoen (Advisor to the National Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation Policy Council), Ms. Napaporn Armstrong (Higher Education Expert), and Mr. Keerati Kaewsamerit (Director of the Innovation Promotion Division at MHESI), among others. The visit aimed to monitor the progress of the Youth Volunteer Project led by Assistant Professor Dr. Pattawara Pathomrangsiyankul and Assistant Professor Dr. Sasithorn Baiphong from the Faculty of Agro-Industry, and Assistant Professor Dr. Natthitakarn Payakka from the Faculty of Agriculture, who were recipients of the 2024 Youth Volunteer Project grant.

                The project, titled “Youth Volunteers Supporting Thai Soft Power in Food and Community Tourism in Wang Phang Subdistrict, Wiang Nong Long District, Lamphun Province,” involves 11 students from both the Faculty of Agro-Industry and the Faculty of Agriculture. These students worked closely with the local community of Wiang Nong Long, applying their knowledge in food law and agro-tourism management to address the specific needs of the area. The project focuses on promoting local food and tourism as part of Thailand’s soft power, aiming to create an attractive tourist route featuring local cuisine, souvenirs, and engaging activities. The students will also produce video clips to promote the area, encouraging tourists and food enthusiasts to experience the unique local culture.

                 The students' work will be showcased soon, highlighting their contributions to the community and the impact of this project.
