เมื่อวันที่ 10-11 ตุลาคม 2567 ศาสตราจารย์ปฏิบัติ ดร.ชรินทร์ เตชะพันธุ์ รองอธิการบดี มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ พร้อมด้วย รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ยุทธนา พิมลศิริผล คณบดีคณะอุตสาหกรรมเกษตร และ รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุธี วังเตือย รองคณบดี  ร่วมเป็นเกียรติในงาน The World Agricultural University President Forum และร่วมพิธีเปิดงาน “The 2024 World Agrifood Innovation Conference (WAFI)” ซึ่งจัดขึ้น ณ Beijing Jinhai Lake International Convention and Exhibition Center.

ระหว่างการเข้าร่วมงานดังกล่าว Professor Sun Qixin, President of the China Agricultural University (Co-Chair, Conference Advisory Committee) ได้ให้การต้อนรับผู้แทนจากมหาวิทยาลัยต่างๆ :

การพบปะหารือครั้งนี้เริ่มต้นด้วยการต้อนรับอย่างอบอุ่น ผู้แทนจากมหาวิทยาลัยต่างๆได้เจรจาความร่วมมือ เพื่อเสริมสร้างโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนและส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่างสมาชิกทั้งในด้านการวิจัยทางวิทยาศาสตร์ รวมถึงการฝึกอบรมบุคลากร การแสวงหาความร่วมมือระหว่างภาคธุรกิจ สถาบันการศึกษา สถาบันการวิจัย และการสร้างโอกาสความร่วมมือเพื่อสนับสนุนการพัฒนาโครงการ ‘Belt and Road' อีกด้วย
หลังจากนั้นคณะผู้แทนแสดงความขอบคุณและชื่นชม China Agricultural University สำหรับการต้อนรับอย่างอบอุ่นในครั้งนี้ ซึ่งทำให้ตระหนักและเล็งเห็นถึงความสำคัญของเวทีแลกเปลี่ยนระหว่างประเทศอย่าง WAFI2024 นับได้ว่าเป็นอีกเวทีหนึ่งในการสร้างโอกาสสำคัญเพื่อปลูกฝังและพัฒนาบุคลากรที่มีความสามารถด้านนวัตกรรม รวมถึงคนรุ่นใหม่ที่มีผลงานโดดเด่นด้านการเกษตร ซึ่งจะเป็นกำลังหลักสำคัญในการบรรลุกลยุทธ์การฟื้นฟูชุมชนในภาคเกษตรกรรมอย่างครอบคลุม


On 10-11th October 2024, Professor of Practice Charin Techapun, Ph.D., Vice President of Chiang Mai University along with Associate Professor Dr. Yuthana Phimolsiripol, Dean of the Faculty of Agro-Industry and Associate Professor Dr. Sutee Wangtueai, Vice Dean attended The World Agricultural University President Forum and the opening ceremony of the 2024 World Agrifood Innovation Conference (WAFI) at the Beijing Jinhai Lake International Convention and Exhibition Center.

During the conference, Professor Sun Qixin, President of the China Agricultural University (Co-Chair, Conference Advisory Committee) expressed warm welcome to all delegations :

This meeting began with his warm welcome to all delegations who participated in the 2024 WAFI Conference, and proposed to further strengthen exchanges and promote in-depth collaboration between members in scientific research, talent training and collaboration among business, academia ,research and also deeply explore cooperation opportunities to support the high-quality ‘Belt and Road’ Cooperation.

The delegations expressed gratitude and appreciation to the China Agricultural University for this warm reception. They all agreed that the international exchange platform provided by the WAFI conference is one of the important opportunities for cultivation and development of innovative talents and new agricultural outstanding young talents which are the key core force to comprehensively realize the communities revitalization strategy in the field of agriculture.
