สำนักงานการวิจัยแห่งชาติ (วช.) กระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัติกรรม ได้ร่วมกับสถานบันการศึกษา หน่วยงานภาครัฐและเอกชนจัดงาน "วันนักประดิษฐ์" ประจำปี 2568 เพื่อนำเสนอสิ่งประดิษฐ์และนวัตกรรมพร้อมใช้ และความก้าวหน้าด้านการประดิษฐ์คิดค้นของประเทศ ผลักดันให้เกิดการขยายผลและนำไปใช้ประโยชน์ในมิติต่าง ๆ
โดยในปี 2568 นี้ ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.พรชัย ราชตนะพันธ์ุหัวหน้าสาขาวิชาเทคโนโลยีการบรรจุ คณะอุตสาหกรรมเกษตร มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ เข้าร่วมนำเสนอผลงาน เรื่อง "บรรจุภัณฑ์แอคทีฟหลายหน้าที่ : ดูดเอทิลีน, ต้านจุลชีพด้วยกระบวนการสปาร์ค เพื่อใช้สำหรับการยืดอายุการเก็บรักษากล้วยและมะเขือเทศในเชิงพาณิชย์“ (ศ.ดร.พรชัย ราชตนะพันธุ์, รศ.ดร.กิตติศักดิ์ จันทนสกุลวงศ์ และ อ.ดร.ศรินทร์ทิพย์ ธนัคฆเศรณี) และ เรื่อง "การพัฒนาเส้นสำหรับการพิมพ์สามมิติจากพลาสติกชีวภาพผสมกากมันสำปะหลัง" (รศ.ดร.กิตติศักดิ์ จันทนสกุลวงศ์ และ ศ.ดร.พรชัย ราชตนะพันธุ์)

The National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation, in collaboration with educational institutions, government agencies, and private sector organizations, is organizing the "Inventors’ Day" 2025. This event aims to showcase ready-to-use inventions and innovations, as well as the country's progress in invention and innovation, fostering further development and practical applications in various fields.
This year, Professor Dr. Pornchai Rachtanapun, Head of the Packaging Technology Division, Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University, will present his research on "Multifunctional Active Packaging: Ethylene Absorption and Antimicrobial Properties via Spark Process for Commercial Shelf-Life Extension of Bananas and Tomatoes" by Professor Dr. Pornchai Rachtanapun, Associate Prof. Dr. Kittisak Jantanasakulwong and Dr.Sarinthip Thanakkasaranee and "Development of 3D Printing Filaments from Bioplastic Mixed with Cassava Residue" by Associate Prof. Dr. Kittisak Jantanasakulwong and Professor Dr. Pornchai Rachtanapun.
The event will be held from February 2–6, 2025, at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bangna, Bangkok.
