คณะอุตสาหกรรมเกษตร มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ให้การต้อนรับคณาจารย์และนักศึกษาจาก Yamagata University ประเทศญี่ปุ่น จำนวน 12 ท่าน ในระหว่างวันที่ 31 สิงหาคม – 6 กันยายน 2568 โดยมีพิธีเปิดต้อนรับอย่างอบอุ่น นำโดยรองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ยุทธนา พิมลศิริผล พร้อมด้วยคณาจารย์ เจ้าหน้าที่ และนักศึกษาคณะอุตสาหกรรมเกษตร

ตลอดการเดินทาง คณะผู้มาเยือนได้ร่วมกิจกรรมทัศนศึกษายังสถานที่สำคัญทางวัฒนธรรมและท่องเที่ยวของจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ เช่น วัดชัยมงคล คุ้มเสือ ปางช้างแม่แตง และวัดพระธาตุดอยสุเทพ อีกทั้งยังได้เข้าศึกษาดูงาน ณ สถานประกอบการในพื้นที่ ได้แก่ บริษัท Tea Gallery และ Lanna Products เพื่อเรียนรู้ด้านอุตสาหกรรมอาหารท้องถิ่น

โครงการปิดท้ายด้วยพิธีปิดที่อบอุ่น ประกอบด้วยการแสดงรำไทยและกิจกรรม reflection ที่นักศึกษาจาก Yamagata University ได้แบ่งปันประสบการณ์ที่ได้รับจากการมาเยือน ก่อนจบด้วยงานเลี้ยงอำลาเพื่อส่งคณะผู้มาเยือนเดินทางกลับประเทศญี่ปุ่น
 

The Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University, welcomed a group of 12 faculty members and students from Yamagata University, Japan, during August 31 – September 6, 2025. The opening ceremony was graciously presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Yuthana Phimolsiripol, together with faculty members, staff, and students of the Faculty of Agro-Industry.

Throughout the visit, the group engaged in various cultural excursions to landmarks in Chiang Mai,such as Wat Chai Mongkol, Tiger Kingdom, Mae Taeng Elephant Camp, and Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. They also participated in industrial site visits at Tea Gallery company and Lanna Products company, gaining insights into local food industries. 

The program concluded with a memorable closing ceremony, featuring a traditional Thai dance performance and a reflection session where the Yamagata University participants shared their experiences. The visit ended with a farewell dinner before the group’s departure back to Japan.
